City of Surrey BC About the City of Surrey

The City of Surrey is nestled south of the Fraser River between Langley on the east & Delta on the west, with the southern boundary touching the Pacific Ocean, the City of White Rock & the US Border, depending where you are. Surrey is the fastest growing city in British Columbia and the 12th most populous in Canada. To be the fastest growing city in BC, there also has to be lots of infrastructure and housing construction.

Maybe the October 3 case study should be about the irony of clearing trees, digging up bog, and destroying habitat for a green infrastructure project. Green Timbers, Hawthorne Park, what's next?
